Bio 

Amber or, as her friends call her, Amber was born as a baby in The Hague – that’s the one by the sea that isn’t the capital. Active in the film industry since 2002, she – Amber, not the city – became a full time editor in 2007. 

Although she has worked on numerous music videos, shorts and dance films, most of her experience is in editing commercials and online videos. She is passionate about her work, and will not stop until the project has reached the desired level of quality. In other words, she’s not on the clock. Her proficiency in Premiere Pro software is excellent – even Final Cut while it’s in its death throes – and she’s fast. Oh boy, is she fast. Furthermore, she’s very good with music, from which narrative projects benefit too. Her sense of rhythm and timing give her work a fluency and seamless quality. 

Amber has her own edit suite and laptop with editing software. So she can work from any location with a power socket (big fan of poolside edit suites). She lives in Amsterdam – the capital, finally! – and although not afraid of mice, they’re not her favourite.
